We zijn een groep vrienden begin dertig in Amsterdam die klaar zijn voor de volgende stap: een plek creëren waar we ons langdurig kunnen vestigen en onze toekomst opbouwen. Duurzaamheid staat centraal in hoe we denken en leven, en we willen dat onze woningen dat weerspiegelen. De meesten van ons zijn al jaren verbonden met Amsterdam — sommigen hier geboren en opgegroeid, anderen die de stad hun thuis hebben gemaakt — en we willen dichtbij de mensen en gemeenschappen blijven die voor ons belangrijk zijn. Tegelijkertijd zoeken we naar meer ruimte, natuur en een gezondere leefomgeving waar we als gemeenschap kunnen groeien en uiteindelijk gezinnen kunnen stichten.

Wat ons bindt is een gedeelde geest van samenwerking en creativiteit. We brengen graag tijd samen door — koken, spelletjes spelen, muziek maken — en we willen dat ons gebouw diezelfde openheid en verbondenheid uitstraalt. We stellen ons gedeelde ruimtes voor waar buren elkaar kunnen ontmoeten, activiteiten organiseren, ideeën uitwisselen en bijdragen aan het leven in het gebouw en de buurt. We breiden de groep geleidelijk uit met mensen die onze waarden delen rondom duurzaamheid, gemeenschap en langetermijnbetrokkenheid, en vormen zo een diverse maar gelijkgestemde groep toekomstige bewoners die niet alleen een gebouw willen bouwen, maar een levendige en gastvrije plek om te wonen.

We are a group of friends in our early thirties living in Amsterdam who are ready to take the next step: creating a place where we can settle long-term and build our future. Sustainability is central to how we think and live, and we want our homes to reflect that. Most of us have been connected to Amsterdam for many years—some born and raised here, others who have made the city their home—and we want to stay close to the people and communities that matter to us. At the same time, we are looking for more space, nature, and a healthier living environment where we can grow as a community and eventually raise families.

What brings us together is a shared spirit of collaboration and creativity. We enjoy spending time together—cooking, playing games, making music—and we want our building to reflect that same sense of openness and connection. We imagine shared spaces where neighbors can meet, organize activities, exchange ideas, and contribute to the life of the building and the neighborhood. We are gradually expanding the group with people who share our values around sustainability, community, and long-term commitment, creating a diverse but like-minded group of future residents who want to build not just a building, but a vibrant and welcoming place to live.

De huidige kostenindicatie ligt tussen circa €400.000 en €650.000 exclusief erfpacht, afhankelijk van woninggrootte, ontwerpkeuzes, bouwkosten en financiering. Voor de erfpacht kan je kiezen voor eenmalige afkoop (geraamd €130.000) of een doorlopende canon van circa €230 per maand. Dit zijn indicatieve bedragen die tijdens het ontwerpproces kunnen wijzigen.

Ons huidige ontwerp bestaat uit de volgende woninggroottes:

• Studio's: 3 eenheden variërend van 30m2 to 45m2
• 2-3 Kamerappartementen: 8 eenheden variërend van 50m2 to 65m2
• 3-4 Kamerappartementen: 8 eenheden variërend van 75m2 to 85m2.

Flexibele optie: Het is mogelijk om twee appartementen samen te voegen tot één grotere woning. Hoewel dit in overleg met de groep en de architecten moet worden afgestemd, is dit zeker een haalbare optie als je op zoek bent naar meer ruimte.

The current cost indication is between approximately €400,000 and €650,000 excluding ground lease (erfpacht), depending on apartment size, design choices, construction costs and financing. For the ground lease you can choose a one-time buyout (estimated €130,000) or a recurring fee of approximately €230 per month. These are indicative figures that may change during the design process.

Our current design features the following apartment sizes:

• Studios: 3 units ranging from 30m2 to 45m2.
• 2-3 Room Apartments: 8 units ranging from 50m2 to 65m2.
• 3-4 Room Apartments: 8 units ranging from 75m2 to 85m2.

Note on flexibility: It is possible to combine two apartments to create a larger living space. While this requires coordination and approval from the group and our architects, it is absolutely a viable option for those looking for more room.
