Casa Nucleo

The images above are not a finished designs. They are references and inspiration to a sensibility: architecture that is elemental, adaptable and deeply connected to its place.

Casa Nucleo explores how this philosophy could become a real collective housing project. I imagine homes that begin with an essential nucleus and can grow gradually as lives and needs change, or not. Private spaces would coexist with carefully considered shared spaces, creating conditions for both solitude and community.

The architecture would not be imported or predetermined. It would emerge through dialogue between the future inhabitants, the specific site, the Dutch climate, available materials and the passing of time.

I am now taking the first step and looking for people who feel drawn to this experiment and want to help shape its first questions, principles and possibilities. You do not need to be an architect or already have the answers. What matters is curiosity, openness and a genuine willingness to explore another way of inhabiting and building together.

The first step is to form a small group of people who feel connected to the questions behind Casa Nucleo and want to explore them together.

Through a series of conversations, observations and working sessions, we will identify our essential needs, shared principles and different ways of inhabiting. Architects, designers, poets, musicians, builders, climate and material specialists, researchers and other invited experts will then contribute their knowledge to this process.

They will not arrive with a finished solution. They will enter the poetic dialogue with us.

Together, we aim to translate the philosophy into concrete possibilities: criteria for a site, principles for private and shared space, an adaptable nucleus, architectural studies, material choices and a realistic path toward building.

I'm looking for the first participants in this founding conversation. No architectural expertise is required—only curiosity, commitment and a willingness to question how we live before deciding how we build.

The second act begins when the conversation encounters a specific place.

Before proposing a form, we spend time observing what is already there: the movement of the sun, the direction of the wind, the character of the ground, the presence of water, vegetation, sound, weather and the rhythms of human life around it.

Through walks, observations, drawings, words, temporary gestures and shared acts on the land, we allow the place to reveal its conditions and possibilities.

The site is not treated as an empty surface waiting to be occupied. It becomes a participant in the dialogue.

What we discover will begin to shape the principles, relationships and spatial possibilities from which Nucleus Casa can emerge.

We are looking for the first people willing to join this journey and enter this dialogue to form the foundations of Casa Nucleo.
